I am the Wind

This is a new character of mine, Tarik, who I created for 's new RP site.

He is a Mage dragon, a wingless species who have the power to manipulate any element they wish. Tarik's family saw their red and black colouring as a sign to study the power of fire and earth and wished for him to follow their tradition. Tarik would have happily continued to train in fire before he met an ice mage called Lorelei. The two became close friends and Tarik became more and more fascinated with the powers of ice and wind, and eventually chose to study them as his primary elements. Years passed and Tarik and Lorelei became masters of the elements of winter, which didn't bode well with Tarik's family. They didn't want anything to do with him anymore and forced him to leave his home. Extremely upset by this, Tarik and Lorelei left to find a new place to live far away from their families. Along the way Lorelei fell in love with a stone mage called Borok and the two became mates. Initially Tarik was happy for his friend, but as time went by he discovered that Borok was, in fact, an asshole who thought Tarik was trying to steal Lorelei from him. Borok would often attack Tarik and try to scare him away for Lorelei despite her pleas. One day during a bloody battle Lorelei tried to get in between Borok and Tarik to stop them from fighting and ended up getting badly injured by her mate. Ashamed, Borok left and Lorelei eventually died from her wounds. Since then Tarik wandered far and wide to find the perfect home he and Lorelei once dreamed of. He eventually found his way to a mountain range, where the story continues.

I really need to draw some more fan art of the RP site. They're all really cool ^^
